I know she sees me and she knows i'm there
but i can't speak or tell her what else is there
she passes by so many things without a blink of an eye
but i get the chance to stay longer and linger behind

is a pet that is so stupid she tends to forget
that one ball can only fit in her mouth
yet she still tries to fit two
a pet so dumb she doesn't understand that water
can get rid of her thirst
a pet so arrogant as to think everyone wants to be jumped on by her
and covered in her mud and grass
a dog so cute that people don't really mind
until she bites them.

overpowering
like you could be crushed any second
by the weight of a thousand bricks
glass and brass
you know they're stable
but the sky scrapers are just so much taller
than any thing in the city
