1. I couldn’t have known what I’d feel from that day on
   I was entering an abyss I had never contemplated 
   Beginning I thought this could be fun 
   Who knew I’d fall  and end in a painful blow
   Your eyes said begin but mine said nothing in return
   I understand the frustration you must have felt with nothing to receive
   only to give and I suppose now it’s my turn
   Did you stop loving? Or did you never have love to conceive?
