I've always liked poetry I've never really disliked reading it or writing it unless it's in a science class and we're writing poems about a plant or a cloud type. I think they're pretty and they can be like books. Funny, creepy, some can even have plots and they don't even have to rhyme. The only thing I don't really like about it is that, at least for me, it's hard to get into poems or really enjoy them like I would a novel. That and sometimes I read a poem that's just over the top dramatic and it reminds me of a comedy sketch from a show like SNL making fun of dramatic poem writers.  Not to mention bad memories regarding EOGs and EOCs. Their poems weren't ever fun to read they were just a pain I had to get through in order to pass. That along with every other selection ever but you get my point.
